Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Docket ("the Service"), operated by Docket Software, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By connecting your Discord server, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Docket is an AI-powered community management platform for FiveM and Roblox roleplay communities. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

  • AI-powered application scoring and review
  • Discord bot management and automation
  • Ticket system and support management
  • Staff performance tracking and analytics
  • FiveM and Roblox platform integrations
  • Community profile pages and website builder
  • AI training and knowledge base management

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must authenticate via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Docket offers Free, Pro ($14.99/month), and Enterprise ($49.99/month) subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

If payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan. You will not lose your data during this period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or members
  • Distribute spam, malware, or malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Service
  • Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity
  • Impersonate Docket Software or our staff

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

6. AI Features and Accuracy

Docket uses AI to score applications, respond to tickets, and assist community management. AI-generated outputs are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as definitive decisions. Final moderation decisions remain the responsibility of your community staff.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing AI recommendations before taking action.

7. Discord and Third-Party Integrations

Docket integrates with Discord, FiveM, Roblox, and Stripe. By using these integrations, you also agree to the respective terms of service of those platforms. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by these third-party services.

8. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Docket Software, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including community documents, rules, and SOPs. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to use that content solely to provide the Service to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCKET SOFTWARE, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your billing dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
